2027 FUNCTION GUIDE · RECEPTION
Indian wedding reception trends 2027
The 2027 reception is a party with a story: a staged couple entrance, a seated or family-style dinner, speeches kept short, a first dance, then a late-night food moment to keep the dance floor going.
What the 2027 reception looks like
- A produced couple entrance with music, light and effects
- Seating charts with a QR "find your table" for guests
- A late-night chai or street-food service
- A first dance and a family dance-floor opener
Decor ideas
- Glamorous ballroom or estate settings
- Statement head table or sweetheart table
- Candlelit tablescapes with a clear palette
